This year's been the best year for me and reading (considering I only read two books last year!)
So far I've read Mauz parts I and II by Art Spielman (SP?)
and am currently reading We Need To Talk About Kevin by Lionel Shilver.

Yeah, that's only two but I hope to read more!

i didnt like the burn journals, it didnt really go into whyt he did it or his feelings, mainly talked about all the hospital treatment he had, what nurses were like, who visited etc.

Im reading Twilight. I got it yesterday, ugh I cant put it down. I wish the author put in more detail and such though, she'll jump through two months in a page and it catches me off guard, I have to go back and reread. Haha Im just so used to Stephen King I guess.

Dream.

i think it's GENIUS!

As a little kid you believed in fairytales,
that fantasy of what your life would be: white dress; prince charming who would carry you away to a castle on a hill.
You closed your eyes and had complete and utter faith.
Eventually you grow up. One day you open your eyes and the fairy tale disappears.
But the thing is, it's hard to let go of that fairytale entirely because almost everyone has that smallest bit of hope, of faith,
that one day they will open their eyes and it will come true.

The last three really good books i have read were written by Cathy Glass, They are true life tragic stories of kids lives that get fostered as they have been abused in some way. Very touching, but i can relate to some .

She's released 3?
I thought there was only Damaged and Hidden so far?

It's so easy to get lost in constantly having to present
whatever face you believe a person wants to see rather than your own

I'm half way through Lasher by Anne Rice.
It's damn good if you like descriptive writing and fantasy, also if you have a soft spot for a bit o' erotic writing, which she likes to throw in...with witches *grins*

^^ Wow, I just finished "The Witching Hour", and I have "Lasher" already but I think there's one in between them, isn't there? I don't want to start it until I make sure, haha.

Anyways, currently reading "The Complete Conspiracy Reader" compiled by Al Hidell and Joan D'Arc :)
