Feeling blue and looking for someone to talk to :]
Hi, I’m Karaura… I’ve been knocking around RYL for a while but never really been much of a community person - lots of users tend to daunt me as I find people already know each other and its difficult to fit in.
Things have been tough for me for about 4 years now but over the last year or so they have improved however within the last five months I’ve lost a family member, had another family member been diagnosed with cancer, have been diagnosed myself with a neurological disorder called IIH (the wiki page for more info: http://tiny.cc/8O5Zj) and started college after three years out of education… so I have been struggling quite a bit - and today I found out my parents are getting a divorce…
I don’t have any siblings and I don’t have any friends as such as I didn’t leave my house for 2/3 years really and I have trouble making friends now because I suppose I’ve lost a lot of my social skills. Also my family is fairly small with hardly any younger people - at least not any who live near by so I feel like there’s no one I can turn to if I need to talk or even just express myself.
I’ve been SI free for nearly a year and although things have gotten easier the last few months the urges have been hard to cope with, in fact lately there unbearable…
I guess that’s enough for now - I probably just sound like a wining old cow but I could really use someone to talk to :\ so drop me a line some time…

Life's like that sometimes. I guess you just have to turn around and say, "Go on, give it your best shot, I'm not going anywhere". Get back up when you fall down and all that. Lame advice I know, but right now it's the best I got

Its not lame advice at all, its probably what I would say to someone in my situation (if that makes any sense)
I’ve come through a lot already so I know I can get through all this, I just wonder If I can get through it all without SI…life’s a lemon ):

Have faith in yourself. And even if that falters, remember, we have faith in you. Nearly a year SI free is fantastic, in my books you've already proven how strong you are. And as far as I can tell keeping free is easier than stopping, so you're over the hardest part.
