I enjoy being around family. There are quite a lot of us and I don't see my brothers much because ones at uni, ones doing his a levels and the other one, well, no one really knows what he's doing. I actually haven't seen that one since last Christmas!
So its nice when we all get together. And it's wonderful watching Jasmine open all her presents because she's young enough to still see all the magic in Christmas :)
I'm fine! Totally fine. I don't know why it's coming out all loud and squeaky, 'cause really, I'm fine!
I like going for walks to see all the Christmas decorations on houses and in town. I love the lights, the sparkles, the brightness, tinsel, how pretty it is.
Listening to the cheesiest Christmas songs and dancing around like an idiot.
Watching a Christmas movie every evening in the week before Christmas. Ending with Miracle on 34th Street on 23rd December and The Santa Clause on 24th December. As I often miss my mum on Christmas Eve, I like to have a quiet evening on my own watching The Santa Clause with lights off/Christmas lights on, blanket, tea and chocolate.
Choosing presents for my family and friends that I think they will love.
Scrapbooking and making cards with all the pretty Christmas creative art thingies.
Reading Christmassy fiction novels, which are often awful but so cheesy and cutesy that they're sort of fun anyway.
I like taking photos of decorations and lights.
Wearing Christmas jumpers and Christmas socks and tinsel hairbands.
I love getting Christmas cards. It seems to be the tradition to give no cards and the money to charity instead. So I get less cards year on year. I do send Christmas cards though.

I like the religious holiday first and the jingle bell stuff second. I find both meet well in the "Christmas Carol" films. I watch a bunch of versions but like the Alastair Sim version best. We also have a bunch of old house museums on spectacular sites (with great views) and they hold evening candlelight tours with ice sculptures and many lit trees. New York City is pretty cool at Christmas time. The big tree goes up next to the skating rink in Rockefeller Center. The Metropolitan Museum breaks out its Baroque nativity creche. Lots of kids and families around Radio City Music Hall for shows. Central Park looks amazing. Christmas is probably NYC's best season if not very comfortable weather wise. I also like watching the masses around the world on TV. I imagine London should be a cool place for Christmas
I've always been a big kid at Christmas and since my wee niece and nephew were born it's added a whole new level of awesome to proceedings
I love the way that some new traditions have formed like when my and my sister and niece and nephew take my wee granny out before Christmas to get my mum her christmas present and then we go for something to eat.
whenever I get the listings for Christmas tv I always look to see when the snowman is on cos I always watch that with my niece and nephew also the father ted christmas special is essential viewing for me too as well as the doctor who Christmas special.
Christmas has always been more about family getting together and reflecting on the past year for us and everything else is a bonus.
I love christmas :) when I was a kid it felt really magical, and it was exciting to get presents.
Now I'm an adult it has a different feel, but I do still get a bit excited! I really like the fairy lights and decorations. I love any excuse to get my fairy lights out, and I sit with them on in the evening and relax. I love buying presents for my family, and I love watching their reactions as they open them.
This year will be the first year I'm spending christmas with my little nephews which will be great! Christmas through a child's eyes is amazing.
I've not been to a carol service in years, but now I've moved I live near a cathedral and it would be lovely to go sing carols there.
Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back, everything is different…

I think the thing I like the most about Christmas is the company.
It's only just me and my parents, but those are the only two people I need to be around for the rest of my life to be "okay".
The decorations in town, getting presents (small ones, but still) for loved ones, watching old Christmas movies - like christmas vacation with Chevy Chase. Oh and decorating the tree is quite nice as well.
