I'm fine! Totally fine. I don't know why it's coming out all loud and squeaky, 'cause really, I'm fine!

Who else is fine?!?!?

Afternoon everyone.

I hope you have a lovely time Beckie.

It is freezing here too, I use my headphones to warm my ears.

How are you doing Eska?

Where was the postcard from Dawn?

I seriously, seriously wish there was something people could say if they're approached by charity people but are in some ways vulnerable/easily influenced/scared to say no. I was convinced to donate to Guide Dogs today, monthly direct debit, which is alright since I do believe it's an important charity but the guy kept pushing and I felt pressured and awkward. Luckily I think I have enough money to do this for a while at least, just hoping no other charity people hound me.

Have a great time, Beckie! :)

That's cool, Dawn! :)

Hey Lindsay. How are you? Ugh, I know, the number of those people I've signed up to in the past is crazy. Need a flash card or something.

The postcard was from Russia which ironically is where I sent my last postcard to.

Beckie that's awesome! I've heard lovely things about Prague.

Dawn, that's cool. Do you send postcards often?

Lindsay that would be a smart idea. I can't stand being approached in the street.

Aubergine, how are you?

I'm ok, though I have a cold.

How are things Aubergine?

Does it cost loads to send postcards Dawn?

Oh no Eska, colds aren't fun. I seriously wonder what man flu is like as a cold is bad enough! Are you getting any relief?

I'm ??? Going to read for a bit and then try to reply to a pen pal letter which I've been putting off for ages.

I send a postcard approximately once a month. It costs £1.25 to send a postcard abroad. There's a option to receive a postcard within your own country so if that could mean I could have an inland one so it could be cheaper. I bought a load of stamps as it was a pain going to the post office for something that fits in an ordinary post box.

I know what you mean about going to the post office, but I prefer to go every time I send something just to make sure the postage is right. Although I have one of those Royal Mail sizing guide things.

With charity sign ups you can say you're under 18 even if you're blatantly not they can't talk to you. Or just cancel the direct debit as soon as you can.

Don't really know how I am Lucy. Are you up to much this evening?

Lillie, I did think about cancelling it but worry that the guy will somehow find out.

Nope, I'm just home this evening. Might make some dinner soon. You got anything planned?

Eugh I hate those charity people. I've taken up a new way of dealing with some of them lately (when I feel strong enough to) which doesn't result in me signing up to things I shouldn't - I tell them I've got mental health difficulties which make it difficult for me to say no to them but that I really shouldn't sign up financially. Then try to escape as quickly as I can whilst being polite. It's always so awkward.

with chuggers I avoid eye contact, if they say anything I politely and bluntly say no and if they say anything after that I start being cheeky
