I am currently:
what do you do when you cant sleep ??

So just a little thread to find out what you do when you cant sleep.

I go out for a long walk and listen to music, it doesn't always work but it usually clears my head enough to sleep.

- Get out of bed and read a book
- Do some puzzles
- Listen to music on my ipod
- Try and sleep somewhere else, like spare bed or sofa

Lie on the sofa under a blanket and watch TV (usually Road Wars, Night Cops, Traffic Cops, Police Interceptors, NCIS or...erm, Dance Moms >.>)
Play with my phone
Write my thoughts down
Browse le netz
Or sometimes go for a walk, but I do not recommend that at night!

Usually settle down in bed and watch YouTube videos until I run out of my subscription ones and try and sleep.

Tumblr is really good too! As I can scroll for ages and eventually I will feel drowsy and doze off.

Read and listen to music or mess about online, or watch dvds or youtube. I try not to let myself worry cos if I start I won't stop. I daydream too, mostly about Bill Kaulitz (From Tokio Hotel) which may come as a shock lol

I just clean computer up (move/organise files etc). I don't to do anything that might keep me awake (games, news sites etc).

Interrupted or segmented sleep is ok

- Go on social media or some kind of app
- Watch youtube or Netflix
- Listen to a sleep soundboard (crackling fire and rain are my favorite sounds to go to sleep to!)

I happen to have a best friend from the other side of the world and I usually just chat to her if I can't sleep. It's one of the few perks of living so far from each other.

This is fairly normal for me so I usually just read and other times find things to keep me busy like planning ahead for the next week. Sometimes I might play a game or two.
