sabotage as a narrative (attempt at poetry)
High, higher than hope --
incandescent, hips swaying
all languorous like poetry, like
music, to the rhythm of my soul's
fervent exclamations.
Intoxication so sharp and
pure it renders me incoherent,
ravages me to gasping;
all eloquence sabotaged, pretty-pretty words
hindered by stitched lips
(This is how time scars us:
what wounds it leaves stand as signposts,
mementos, grave markers for our innocence;
monuments to every
agony
that failed to pass my lips.)
"How do you spell sabotage?"
I don't -- I can't.
How does one spell sabotage
whose native tongue is silence?
