Adult - Is this word derogatory?

I haven't ever heard of the word flid apart from on a few occasions by rylers how bizarre!

Do people ever use the word queer outside of the gay meaning because I do and yeah

I can't remember who started it, but someone on RYL used the word flid and it spread like wildfire! Same with ALL the, srs bsns etc :p

In my experience, or grasp of the English language, "queer" is one of the least offensive "offensive" words, at least where I am, or among the people that have surrounded me. I know a few people who prefer to call themselves Queer, rather than any of the other LGBT words. Personally, I don't much like the word, but not because it's insulting; I just prefer other ones. I think it's a matter of taste; I refer to myself as lesbian or gay interchangeably, but I know others who are much more picky about their labels.

I call my best gay friend a queer sometimes. I also call him a faggot too though. I harass him in a friendly way, its the way our friendship is. So I guess I use it in a derogatory way. (If he wasn't my friend though I wouldn't call him a queer or a faggot though.) But, I can make pretty much anything sound semi-derogatory depending on my tone of voice. :P
