My cat just started purring for the first time since his 7-story fall and fairly severe brain damage a year and a half ago. It may be the best sound I’ve ever heard.
The (very) young man who had just finished bagging my groceries picked up the flowers I had purchased, handed them over to me cautiously and sheepishly said "here, I got you some flowers"… after he had complimented my perfume. Totally cheese, but IMMD.

My 7 year old daughter loves hip hop dance, so we were watching a Black Eyed Peas video looking for dance moves she could try. We watched Fergie do a brief G-rated routine and I suggested she try it. "But mom," she protested, "I’d be embarrassed to dance around in my underwear like that." IMMD

gives me hope is a good website aswell, mostly about little random acts of kindness but its slightly addictive lol, the first time i went on it i read 700 posts :L
