Many churches are live streaming their services for free online!

I don't know about in the UK, but I know here many, many places are coming up with meals and packaged foods to be sent home for children, and childcare alternatives for folks who do have to continue to work.

Please do not give me virtual hugs unless you are only using the hug function on threads. Thanks.

I live in Fairbanks, Alaska, and got out of the psych ward 2 weeks ago. I'd built up my recovery plan on pillars based on social support and interaction, and now it's all being stripped away. No church, no support groups, no gym, no soup kitchen, even the bus system is stopping tomorrow. I'm worried because those things helped me get out of my own head and resist cutting, but now I'm worried I'll go back to that to deal with my thoughts. On a good note, though, we're finally experiencing temperatures above freezing so the snow is melting some.

So I'm having trouble breathing with this virus and the steroid inhaler I was given by the GP isn't helping all that much.
I spoke to her again today and she just snapped "well if it's really THAT bad you'll just go to A&E, won't you? Or call 999."

And then she ended the call.
I know people are stressed but that felt a bit out of order.

I kind of like being in lockdown mode. Funny to watch people adapt to wearing masks. I actually had some from 2012 when some other viral scare was around. I was going to throw them out a couple of months ago, but figured once I threw them out I would probably need them lol
