How would an admission help? Like what would you do to make it work this time round?

I am actually willing this time. The routine, getting meds and food straight and actually taking care of myself.
Because I'm really not right now and I am scared that if I do not learn how to control it right now, then I will die soon x

I'm not having a go or anything just wondering how it would help you. If you think it's best thing to help keep you safe and regain control, keep fighting for it.

As I've been at the hospital 3 times in 2 weeks - yeah I do think it will keep me safe. Safer than home right now where I am literally self destructing.

I really hope you are listened to. I don't think you are able to keep yourself safe and you need more intensive support before it's too late x

Thank you. I spoke to my GP this morning and he has prescribed Quietepine(spl?) to take along side the sertraline. I actually just called to get a sick note but he was not happy with my low mood and so did that aswell.

Then, miraculously, my care coordinator called. He is meant to be coming here at some point this afternoon.

We will see what happens.

Well done for seeing your GP. Hopefully the quetiapine will help. It's meant to be good for sleep and low mood. How has meeting your cc gone?

How did it go with your care coordinator? I'm pleased your GP was helpful.

quetiapine(seroquel) is not for low mood it is an antipsychotic. In low doses its used for sleep. I'm on 50 mg currently for sleep.

Quetiapine can be used as a mood stabiliser. Last time I went to the psych about my depression she increased my Quetiapine to stabilise my mood.

How are you getting on love?

QFT personally mine is for both psychosis and mood stabiliser (aided by an anitdepressant) but I've known many cases where it was purely used as a mood stabiliser.

It is an antipsychotic and a mood stabiliser. He has given it to me to have along side my antidepressants to see if it will calm my agitation. I have also had some worrying things happen - hallucinations? Flashbacks? I don't even know.

Anyway, my CC came and I ended up feeling more agitated and distressed than before he came. He just talks crap that is irrelevant and damn right unhelpful - like offering to support me to get a gym membership - what the fuck!? I'm underweight, exercise a lot anyway and I don't need support with a gym member ship I need support to keep me alive.

He asked if I was safe and if I would be ok - I said no, he left.

I'm just giving up and not leaving my bed.

I'm so sorry he was so unhelpful. Please don't take his being a git as a sign, remember there's lots of people who care for you and more importantly think you are worth caring for-check out Winnie the Pooh again :P

Thank you Katie <3
It's been hard today, no energy and feeling so weak.
My appointment with the private psych has been cancelled again, I haven't seen her in nearly 2 months.
Will keep trying to hold on.

That's annoying it got cancelled. Can she fit you into any cancellations when they come up? Are you still seeing the community psych if you're also seeing a private psych?

Please keep trying. You're doing so well. Just hang in there.

I think I am booked in for next week, she will be getting back to me.

Yeah I'm still under community psych unfortunately, just community team don't seem to know what to do with me so it's extremely frustrating.

And to make things worse, I'm incredibly anxious as I just had to call the police. A group of men were fighting outside my flat for like half an hour, right outside my bedroom window. But now I've called the police they have moved on before the police have arrived.
My heart is going crazy and I can't stop shaking.

Hey,

How are you doing now?

Sorry you had to deal with them doing that so close to your home, it sounds very stressful. Well done for calling the police though. I hope you were able to relax a little after they moved on.
