Sorry you’re still on a waiting list Leigh that is difficult when you feel like you really need help. I do agree with Hannah though that maybe you could see your gp just to see if they can suggest anything else you could try.

Hey Ali it’s good to hear from you, how are things?

I’m glad I’ve had half term, I really needed it and it’s been good to start getting my life under control again. I’ve tried hard to get organised and I think I’m doing quite a good job with that. I’ve had some lovely times catching up with friends and family which I’m really grateful for, and spent some quality time with Jenna too which is nice because too often I am stressed with work or something. Also next half term is short too so I don’t have too long to get through before the nice Easter break. I can do it, I just have to keep trying. Today has been a real struggle for me to do anything. Even with my lists so I knew what I needed to do, the motivation to do it wouldn’t come and even small tasks felt overwhelming so I was useless and ended up sleeping a lot of the day. I don’t know if it could be medication related: it was near impossible to get a gp appointment so ended up going at the last minute for my prescription to see a random gp not my usual one. Then the pharmacy didn’t have one of my medications in stock so I’ve been without it yesterday and today - I can pick it up after work Monday though so don’t have to wait long. I’ve never missed this medication before, I’ve not been on it that long; it took ages to taper up to this dose that ive only been on for a few weeks. Yesterday evening I was in a really weird mood: I guess hyper and giggling a lot and more confident/less anxious than usual. I know I was being really annoying but it was far more fun for me than being constantly terrified, or this new lethargy and fog. I really hope I can have a normal day tomorrow!

I hope today was better Katie, I really get having a hyper giggly mood feels like a relief at times. I hope tomorrow goes well. It does sound like you're doing really well and trying so so hard so you should be proud of yourself for that.

Ali, its good to see you around. Glad your doing ok. Also I love the dress you posted on your insta.

Hannah, How are you doing sweetie? Yes we will definitely have to meet up soon I just need a spare minute. Things feel kinda crazy busy with work and uni and things. Maybe over the easter period.

Anxiety is amazing. I feel really anxious tonight. I spent the evening with my OH and it was really nice but now he's gone and I have already spoken to him once tonight (after he left) I'm hoping sleep will come soon enough.

Hope everyone had enjoyable weekends and have a good week.

I'm just watching some TV and have done a teeny bit of uni work which has helped. Just waiting for the olympics to start so hopefully I can fall asleep to the ice dancing. I actualy haven't managed to watch much of it and its my favourite games (I prefer it to the summer games) Damn it being in a place that is 9 hours infront haha.

I'm good thanks. The past few days things have been really OK. Family stresses etc, but I've dealt with them without falling apart. I feel on top of things. :)

I think sometimes just blurting it all out to someone can really help. There's a lot to be said for vocalising stuff and getting some feedback. <3


It's going well thanks! A bit hard going, especially the bits with maths, but I'm even getting there with that just about. Looking at masters in medicinal chemitry haha. I'm only three weeks in to a six year undergrad. :P Just nice to feel able to look to the future though. For now I'm happy where I am. It's so enjoyable. It's exactly what I'm interested in, so it's going into my brain!
