I have just finished putting my dinner in the slow cooker. Lasagne this time. Kept on meaning to do lasagne in my slow cooker for a while now but kept on waking up too late to put it in my slow cooker.

Our L has a slow cooker, it's magic.

I just watched Doctors, now I think I will read a little bit about the Harry Potter films. I thought i was due a blood test today so I have an extra hour or so to fill.

Amazon is terrible right now, most of my Prime deliveries have been damaged or got stuck somewhere and Amazon says to contact Hermes and Hermes says to contact Amazon. I'm glad you won your battle Ophi.

I hope you enjoy your lasagne Dawn.

What's the book called Tamo?

How are you doing now NP?

It's called Harry Potter: Film Wizardry. It's got photos and pop-out bits and everything. What are you up to?

That sounds quite exciting.

I'm just about to look for images I can use in my MH scrapbook. I have text to go along with things but I'm not good at drawing. I haven't done anything in my scrapbook for a while but trying to get back into it.

That does sound like a good book, especially the pop out bits.

Hope you find some images that go with the text, Lindsay.

I did some yoga, showered and just had a very late lunch. Took a couple of work calls too. They're assessing whether I'm allowed to go back to work or not.

What do you think about going back to work NP?

Slow cookers sound like mysterious devices!

You can slow cook things in a normal oven though so I don't understand "slow cookers" personally!

Not sure how I feel about going back to work... Having no work stress is kind of nice but it would be nice to have structure and something to do... and there will be even more stress than normal when I go back so... yeah, don't know. =/

Slow cookers are cheap to run when compared to an oven. Plus it's very hard to overcook anything in a slow cooker whereas a oven can burn your dinner.

I understand the cheapness of it. Surely if you left it in there long enough it would still burn?

No it never burns. I once left something in the slow cooker for 12 hours and it wasn't burnt.

Lime and mint. The alcoholic version would have rum.
