Exactly, so why ban one 'bad' thing and not all images?
Why not have all images being able to be posted? Let people take responsibility for what they post and what they view?
I honestly think it's legit. It's not a great inconvenience to not post jpgs of guns or blades and I think it can be agreed that it is something that would be deemed 'triggering' by a lot of members.
The line is hazy when it comes to pencil sharpeners or flames, but it has to be drawn somewhere to get a balance, and I personally think it's quite a well-drawn line right now.

This is a decision that took us time to make and not one we took lightly and it is something we were fully aware would give us backlash because lets face it everything we do upsets someone.

I wans't saying all pictures, like obviously stuff like that is irresponsible to post... I mean like, if you're banning guns, ban high buildings, ban ropes/belts (I don'tthink we should, but I'm making the point of it's one rule for one thing..) I don't even know what I think anymore

I reported a picture of a gun, not because it was a gun but because the poster said he had bought them to be able to own guns that 'they' don't know about when the state gun laws get put in place - so effectively illegal activity.
I don't really see why pictures of guns or anything would be distressing.
grandfather look it up pertaining to guns... a gun bought before a ban usually u can keep the ban usually only prevents new ones from being made and sold...

wrong... i know a few expert marksman who do "drawings" with guns using a target and a box of ammo they shoot holes thru the paper to draw it from a distance of over 50ft . one guy made a pretty cool looking skull one day
