idk the terms are REALLY subjective.

Maybe go for labels about what kind of behaviored you're asking for help / ranting about?

I think behaviour labels were discussed, but as quite frequently one post may mention several behaviours, I think the idea was scrapped. I dunno if maybe a graphic label, or something along those lines could be used instead of severe? That's probably the wrong word but I can't really think of anything better...

I think labels in CC should be more like "poem" "prose" "art" etc

Kel had a big long post on why that idea was scrapped. I will go look it up

I must have you!"

I'm being dim but what does BORIS stand for. I'm assuming soemthing to do with COE/BD but the exact acronym is lost on me.

I need to think about the OP though and get back to this.

Agreed.
I never know whether to put 'mild' or 'severe' on my threads, and my choice of label usually depends on my current mental state, rather than objectivity and thoughts about how it might affect other readers.

Also, I think the trigger labels are slightly overused on the ED board, with every single thread being marked as triggering, which imho defeats the whole purpose of the label, to warn a potential reader.
--

Also agreeing with the whole ED rules thing. But I have commented on that before, so I'm not going to bring it up again, so yeah.

--

Another thing. Although obviously things have improved a lot compared to some time ago, I still notice that newbies don't get as much replies and support on the ED board as regular members, so I think it's still an issue that needs to be addressed. I remember at one point people were encouraged to make sure every thread had a certain number of replies, that kind of thing. Perhaps we could have another campaign like that, just to refresh everyone's memories.

--
I don't feel a divide between te general ED board and BORIS. With my ED, I tend to switch between BORIS and EDS, and I feel pretty comfortable and accepted on both boards. So I think it's going well.

Generally though (not EDS-specific), I think the mods are doing a great job.

We tried to have a London meet last weekend but were unable to because it wasn't approved in time

We're hoping not to have the same problem with arranging a new date...

My love, a beautiful future awaits

I don't know much about technology, but if you could pass on to Harley/James that it'd be good if using the "ignore" feature would stop the person you've ignored reading your posts too. I don't know if this is even possible.
