Pregabalin and weight gain
Hey guys
So I've just been prescribed Pregabalin 100mg for neuropathic pain and was wondering whether anyone has taken it and experienced any significant weight gain? I am currently a healthy weight - slap bang in the middle of the healthy bmi range - but have worked hard to get my weight back down after my depression, which I have now fully recovered from. I eat very healthily and am as active as I can be (long walks inc hillwork, gentle swimming and cycling on a static bike) with my current condition, however I am no where near as active as usual, and am a little concerned about piling on the pounds. I am not on any other pain meds with a propensity to cause weight gain and I'm only on a low dos of Pregabalin, but I can't help worrying a tad about it.
