Well done! I'm coming up to 15 months free. I totally echo the fact the longer time goes the less the urges become. I'm still mindful of the possibility but hopefully this will last as long as yours too :)

Well unfortunately I ODed a few weeks ago so I didn't get to 2 years free. But part of me is determined to get back to a year free. I am currently working to 3 months free.

Sorry to hear that you've ODed and I hope that you've been able to reach out for support with the thoughts and feelings that led you to that point.

It's so great that you're so determined to get right back on the recovery bandwagon! Wishing you all the best moving towards three months free :)

Thanks Jenna. I feel so annoyed that I ODed. But on the other hand I am glad that I got to 20 months free because that's the longest I have been for a long time. Even if I did get a lecture from a nurse that I told.

It's about a week to go of being a month free of being od free. I have decided that if I get to 3 months free that I am going to buy myself a treat food wise (not sure if it's a Bakewell pudding or a Domino's) & then another every 6 months.

I'm glad you're able to see that even though you slipped, getting to 20 months was a great achievement and will hopefully help you this time to know that you're able to go that long.

Congratulations on getting to one month free, you're doing really well! A treat at 3 months sounds like a great plan :)

Yes I am proud of the fact I got to 20 months free because I haven't been that long without ODing for a long time. I was going to take more than what I did but my oldest cat came and put her paw on me as if to say stop. When I am having a bad day she becomes clingy as if she's trying to comfort me. She's a nervous cat so it's unlike her. She must be psychic or something.

My cpn is currently off sick so if she comes back then I will tell her how proud I am. Sadly the nurse who is currently in charge of my care I can't tell when I am feeling like ODing again because she will give me a lecture. From the sounds of the letter my cmht sent me saying that my cpn is off sick she will be for a few weeks yet so hopefully I will be at least two months free by the time she comes back.

Aww, your cat sounds sweet!

That's great that you've got positive things to share with your CPN when she gets back. Can you tell the nurse you're seeing in the interim that you find getting lectured unhelpful?

Yes I will tell her the next time I feel bad. I really don't want to ask for another nurse because I have trouble with trusting new people and also I find her excellent in all other aspects. I don't want to get used to another person and then my regular cpn comes back. I am due a depot on Wednesday so I suspect that I will have her again. Atm I don't feel like ODing.

No I am not Carmen until next month because I will be 3 months free by then. I am currently only 2 months free. I have decided to either have a Bakewell pudding or a Domino's then (but not on the actual day itself because I will be at my parents house and Domino's doesn't deliver to them).

woop, well done on reaching 2 months OD free :) Is a bakewell pudding like a bakewell tart?

No it's made of a pastry that you get in a custard slice which has set jam with a egg and almond top in the middle as it's circular. There's no icing or cherries but the actual recipe is a top secret. The bakewell pudding shop actually post a pudding out which is what happened when I last had one but when I had it before I have had it from the shop. The one I had through the post is bigger though. You are supposed to have it with custard or cream but I have only had it once with custard (from the actual shop) but I prefer it on it's own.
