I think this is a good idea, I am glad you feel able to be yourself. I found I was okay until I relapsed even though it is on a different area of the body, I feel like no one will understand. I still cover up. I respect you very much.

Dollpart, that's beautiful. I read the whole thing and I think you're a good writer. I've never been to Hamilton; I'll have to visit someday!

One question: how would you prefer people to react to your scars? There's a woman at my work with them and so far I've just ignored them because I didn't want to cause her any shame/embarrassment. I'm not sure if there's a 'right' way to react.

I'm not sure. I don't mind if people ask, as long as they're tactful, as it's better than looking confused. But it's also OK if you're not comfortable asking.
