Royal wedding

In just under 2 weeks time there's going to be Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding. Is anyone going to be doing anything for it? Throwing a party?

On the other hand will you be doing your best to ignore it? Avoiding the tv because that's all they're gonna be talking about? Got other plans for that day?

Myself I am going to a hobby related show that day. It was already booked and paid for before the royal wedding was announced. I don't like Prince Charles so I am glad to avoid it tbh.

It is literally happening on my doorstep... All roads will be closed, everywhere is going to be busy with extra people, so I am going to lock myself in the house and maybe watch it on tv.

I don't really know much about anything that's happening in the world or pay a lot of attention to it so I will only be reading/watching things about the wedding that I can't avoid.

I put it down on paper and then the ghost does not ache so much.

I can't even avoid it now. Windsor's covered in Union Flag bunting already and they've even put down new tarmac on the road that the carriage will go down after the wedding!

I really couldn't care less about the royal wedding!!

I'm fine! Totally fine. I don't know why it's coming out all loud and squeaky, 'cause really, I'm fine!

Who else is fine?!?!?

Maidenhead is also covered with bunting and flags and the royal wedding isn’t even coming through here!

Madness!

My big boss was reminding us all the other day that it's "just two people getting married"... Well, fair point, but if that was really the case then it wouldn't have to be this disruptive or public.

But then again there are a lot of people out there who are really big on the royal family, like for example all the crowds that camped outside the hospital when Prince Louis was born, and it gives them a lot of joy. So each to their own. =)

To be honest if it wasn't so chaotic I might wander out to see them go by...

I just caught the news now. Seemed like a sweet wedding, but I'm more concerned about the ridiculous money being spent on it when there are thousands using food banks and sleeping on the streets. If I were her, I'd ask for a smaller wedding and donate the money to good causes.

Imperfection is underrated.

I think they have asked people to donate money to charity instead of buying wedding gifts. *shrug*

The cello player (Sheku Kanneh-Mason) was the best part I think. I cant imagine being 19 yrs old, and playing cello solo at a Royal wedding being watched around the world. I would have been soaked lol.

I've always liked Harry since he has visited close several times and been a very affable fellow.

The cello player was good! He was interviewed afterwards and was so calm and “whatever” about the whole experience.
