hehe, ikr. I shall await the other replies though, to make an Informed Decision.
As a casual aside, I had a dream last night that I voted for tumblr as the mayor. Sounds legit...
Kame - I noticed that and just thought 'o dear o dear' :p
Jenna - this is all rather interesting I would most enjoy seeing the leaflet about Gay people! It is interesting to hear all about the different campaigners views on gays :/
hi Jenna,
we believe that what consenting adults do in the bedroom is not any business of governments.

That's really weird, my rather simple understanding of the BNP was that they originally broke away from the NF because of their differing views on homosexuality, i.e. the BNP was more anti-gay.
Having said that, however, I just looked up their wikipedia page and it says the BNP believe 'homosexuality in private should be tolerated but believes that it "should not be promoted or encouraged". It is opposed to civil partnerships and wishes to ban what it perceives as the promotion of homosexuality in schools and the media. It proposes that homosexuality should be returned "to the closet"'.
Sneaky.
Being more serious though, I stand firm that Boris shouldn't be re-elected just because he's amusing. I'd love to have him as an uncle but I wouldn't trust him to run a bath. When he originally ran for mayor he made a big thing about bringing back routemasters and then when he actually won he admitted he hadn't worked out whether we could actually afford them. Years later the prototype was unveiled and it's not a routemaster. It's a normal bus with an extra set of doors that costs £1.4 million each. And so far only runs one route, and not at night or on weekends.
When i realised that I got to vote in the London elections I was so excited.
My dad then told me that I had missed the deadline to register myself as actually living in London so now I can't vote and I've now decided that I don't care wh wins as long as its not Boris or the BNP as their campaign video was hilarious!!
Just not Boris again, it was fun this time but honestly ¬_¬
There are times to stay put, and what you want will come to you.
But there are times to go out into the world and find such a thing for yourself.
I aint no abacus but you can count on me.

You're very right, the BNP used to be part of the NF but have broken away from the NF and now they say the 'hate' each other and don't support each other etc etc..
That's the thing with the BNP they are very sneaky, over the past few years they have been trying to show people that they have changed there ways and are more open etc but nah they are still the same old same old..

All political parties are "sneaky". They all try to win votes however they can. If they realise that they have an image problem then they try to change and move away from it.
In other, but not totally unrelated, news, I am watching Marine Le Pen's speech. The translator has a suitably sinister sounding voice and it's making me lol.
One more thing. I know the majority of us on RYL are now in our twenties, but last year Boris' party scrapped Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA) in England, which Ken promises to reinstate in London. When I was in college the vast majority of my friends wouldn't have been able to afford going if it weren't for EMA. Yes, some people abused it, but it also helped a lot of people. Wales still has it, Scotland still has it. England and thus London, one of the most expensive cities in the world to live in, doesn't anymore.
