Yes, they can do things for a broken finger and, if needed, they can operate on it to correct the position and not only that but they can correct the position, if it's not too bad and needs correcting, often whilst you're awake. They can also use different types of bandaging and even casts at times to ensure it remains in the right position. Therefore, if you have any suspicions that it may be broken then you should go and see a doctor, ideally at either a Minor Injuries Unit, Urgent Care Centre or A&E. A GP can also assess it and send you for an X-ray and further treatment fitted feel it is appropriate too.
