AH im going through the same thing and it sucks.

I also had a dr appt and a weigh in and for the first time drs are telling me its an eating disorder, of course I knew it was a problem...but not bad enough for the label!!!

Im sorry its not a nice feeling to have, its hard to accept. HUGS

Scales don't lie & nor do therapists.
Please just realise this, stop denying it :(

Hey, sweetheart.

I know its difficult to see it, but you are not fine & I think inside you know that, but sometimes this big cloud swoops over you, and it blocks out what you know is true.

It is your ED, taking control and making you think there isnt a problem so it doesnt matter what your doing because it isnt a problem, but in reality, it IS a problem, something you need to work towards getting better, with little fairy steps & you will do it.

thankyou everybody so so much for the replys.
i really need some support right now & i feel so fake for asking for it.

Its just,
okay my gp laughed at me & doesnt take my ED seriously, so i refuse to go and see him anymore (& ive swapped GPS 3 times, one even called me a failure).
& my parents believe im fine.
my friends dont know.
i tell myself im fine.
because i never thought id be here. & its not like im unhealthy or having problems or anything so.. its got to be fine. Ive got to be fine, just because i have no other choice.

GP's are stupid, don't worry about them, you obviously need the help, they even took you off the waiting list after moving you to the top!!
They think you're fine because you're pretending that you are, mine think the same too :/

You are unhealthy, I've read about your physical effects & they're not to be taken lightly
YOU HAVE A CHOICE, you can choose to live & beat this ED, you deserve it & you can do it...

But doctors are supposed to take illnesses seriously, if mine is a joke then its not serious, therefore it doesn't exist which makes me an attention seeker.
