How Many Can You Tick off.

If thong to you means a pair of underwear.
If you favor marmite over vegemite.
If you can know what this means..... tahi, rua, toru, wha, rima, ono, whitu, rau, iwi, tekau .
If you can know more then one use for No.8 wire (other then fencing)
If you know what a ponga tree is and what it represents
If you've ever heard of and played with the Buzzy Bee
If you've experienced the joy of the pohutukawa tree in summer
If Rugby is your sport of choice- whether playing or watching
AND
If you can find a connection or meaning with those listeed below then- i think its fairly obvious that you're a KIWI

If you've experienced the joy of the pohutukawa tree in summer ive seen pictures, but never smelt it as im too far south
If Rugby is your sport of choice- whether playing or watching i have on occasion been talked into watching games and playing as a child
AND
If you can find a connection or meaning with those listeed below then- i think its fairly obvious that you're a KIWI

Hāngi Kai anyone, had a hangi as a school camp out meny a times
Kiwi i think ive seen one in the wild before.
Kiwifruit it took a while, like most my life to like em but i do now.
Paua ohhh the paua house down bluff, they sold it now and took all the pau down but it was so pretty.
Pineapple lumps love em too
Swanndri they were good growing up- lived on a few farms.
Stubbies shorts or speights xP, there was once this ad on TV anoyne rememebr?
Gumboots Red-bands all the way, i must get some soon- the pretty ones this time thou.
Tip-Top ice cream. vanilla/hokey-pokey.

Hi, Yup im from New Zealand and proud of it :).
i have two teddie bears that i love heaps.
im not tall and often get remined that good things DO come in small packages
i have a large family but im not such a fan of them.
i used to like pink, then pale bule, them black (bad choic of clothing color to wear), them pink again, then grey and finally its purple.
i moved lots growing up- mainly round southland and the small tows- so i do still rollmy Rrrrrr's.
i have a pet cat called mittens (such an orginal name- but it was either that or meow/pain)
i had two fish but they died ove time.
im currently studying at university.
and if you wanna know anything else ask me thru pm.

Paua visited Fred and Myrtle when they were still around. Now at Canterbury museum and well worth a visit.

and, carrying on from the thread in meet ups, dunedin's not THAT cold, when i went to live there everyone told me i'd freeze but seriously chch is colder.
