Hey, I'm okay at the moment, how are you? I'm okay because I'm not thinking about my psych too much, it's the only way to deal. I've been offered a job, which is awesome, but I'm having to wait on an extended security check and I'm not working at the moment, and I won't have enough money for rent next month so I'm really worried.

They're doing three years of reference checks on me, which is a nightmare, I've done about 8 jobs in the last three years and its taking ages. They're also doing a police check, which I guess covers CRB checks. They called today to say that when I start they will pay me in April because I've missed payday, but I will def be asking for an advance so I don't become homeless. And there might be a showdown on my disability provision, but not there yet.

Serialangel, I can relate a bit. I got offered a job(foundraising) as well, but not sure when I'll be starting, and my living situation is still not great. I moved out; currently staying with a 'friend'(Mark knows, it's the guy who kept trying to hit on me...). I found a real cheap place, rent is only £200 and not asking for deposit! But I can only move there in April...so I'm pretty worried. I hope things go well for you X

I'm trying not to think too much about Mother's Day.[hard, because it's everywhere] Stephanie Hirst made an amazing post about how hard it is to deal with it all, and that really helped me tbh(for those who don't know, my mom died last year). I'm trying to draw motivation from my memories of mom being supportive, it's what I need right now. ETA: I shared Stephanie's post and attached my own to it, and she replied <3 I am so happy.
