Jodie is having a difficult time with the things she sees and hears, commands to engage in dangerous behaviours and memories of her car accident and the abuse. So she could do with a little advice and kind words.

I know that things are very difficult for you right now, and am really sorry you are struggling with all this.
You are very strong, and are doing so so well, so a massive well done for that. I will echo Jenna in saying: Keep Fighting! You can get through this, and things can get easier, and hopefully getting some more help from professionals will help ease things for you. xx
The voices are so loud and he's tellingme to burn or cut. He's also insistent that I overdose or take pills.
I'm struglin with memories of the abuse. I founf an old aritcle where I used to live about a man who was arrested for making child pornoraphy nd his picture reminds me of one of the men that hurtme, that took pictures of me.I'm scaredit's him and it's my fault he went on to hurt more kids.
The crash feels like it's happeing again. I can feel myself trapped in that car. I can hear the metal crunching around me ad the screams.
I'mseeing women bein tortured ad mutilated and i ca hear them crying out for help.
I don't know how to cope. I don't know what's real.It all feels so real.

You need to ground yourself. The crash and the abuse and the other stuff you're seeing aren't real. This site and your safety are. You don't have to act on what he's telling you. You're safe now. Can you do the 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 exercise here with us?
It's the exercise where you name 5 things you can see, 4 things you can hear, 3 things that you can touch, 2 that you can smell and 1 thing you can taste. But this would have to be done carefully, use us for support with it so you don't get lost in flashbacks and hallucinations. can you name 5 objects you can see? your computer could be one
For starters, I'd suggest switching to drinking something other than alcohol. Can you make some coffee or tea? If you don't think you can keep safe on your own, can you phone crisis?

Yes I think it would be worth calling crisis. Is there a friend that can come and sit with you?
I know you don't feel safe but you are safe from other people, it's just scary what you're going through. Your rats have cool names :) are they out? can you cuddle them?

I'm so sorry to hear that you're struggling. Keep fighting. If I could be there with you to help, i would, but you need to stay strong.

Anxiety and flashbacks are awful, sweetie, and I do understand how it makes you feel as I get them too. However, he can't physically hurt you now and you can come here and call on us for help. Tell him to go away when you hear that voice, my lovely. Tell him he has no power over you now and can't hurt you.
Be kind to yourself, Jodie. You deserve that. Deep breaths (and that exercise looks good too). Can you listen to soft music or look at calming pictures - anything to take your mind somewhere else? Just don't give in to those urges and when this passes you will come out stronger.
