obviously, in the frist week or two we will have a bit of leeniancy asn we will just remove the numbers, with a reminded to the memebr abotu the new rules, bu after that we will start useing offical warnings, and if needs be, infractions.

I have an idea, on the first day, would you mind making a post reminding us? Because I dont' know about other people, but on 1st October I won't be aware it's the first of October. My days kind of float by and it always takes me by surprise when it's the beginning of the next month.
I'm all for the rule change. It'll be interesting to see what happens. I'm glad we're having a good few months trial period, that way things will have time to 'settle' and we'll get a good idea of whether the rule change is a good thing, rather than just a few weeks.
Hopefully this will make the ed forum less competitive.

i have another question and sorry if its been mentioned i didnt seem to come across it. the ban on numbers but are we allowed to instead of saying like i purged several times are we able to use letters. cause i no i will find it hard in r and v but if its typed can we say i ate x amounts of cals and i purged x amount of times. is that still ok?
yes, completely blocking out the numbers in R+V with letters is ok. what isnt ok is if you only block out some numbers eg BMI = 1*.*.
i list is...well, a list. saying i've eaten this an dthis and this and this today, is a list, or saying that thats all yoru going to eat. you are allowed to post meal plans set by your dietition though.

I had left this forum until today, and think I have posted a thread that might had broken rules, so if I have then I apologise. But generally I agree with the rules, although one of the things I liked about RYL was that you didn't need to be as careful as other sites. But I would prefer to be careful as the reason why I haven't been online had been because I found it, at times, triggering.
its alright, we know the rules are going to take a bit of gettign used to, so we'll jus tbe edtin gposts and send gentle reminders for a while. its probably best to report the posts though.
