Feeling abandoned *MT*

So, I'm a sort of 'newbie' (again) as I haven't posted in aaaaagggggeeeeesssss and unsure if the trigger warnings etc. are right so mods, feel free to edit......

I completed Narrative Exposure Therapy a couple of weeks ago. Totally new CPN at the start of it and I got a phone call last week to say (that) CPN has left and was only temp. totally out of the blue.

I spilled my guts to her, told her things I have never said out loud before.

Now I'm left feeling abandoned (BPD ) and very very alone in all this. I have a new CCO but she is only temp too! what's the point?

Sorry you're having a hard time. Are there other people in your life who are more consistently around? I can understand how difficult it is to put your trust in someone and then they leave, especially when it was out of the blue. Maybe because you know your new CCO is a temp too you will both be able to prepare for when she leaves, in small ways throughout your time with her.

My new cco is the actual team coordinator so she doesn’t really have time. I feel like a burden and she makes me feel as though I’m wasting her time.
Maybe I am?
Maybe I really can’t deal with this?

I'm sorry your CCO makes you feel like you're wasting her time. I'm sure she probably doesn't feel that way though. Would you be able to be honest with her about how you're feeling?
