Tell me about your pets personality

Inspired by the pets thread in the picture board I'd really like to hear about your pets (singular or plural) personality, if you have a pet.

I know that animals are as unique as humans a lot of the time personality wise.

I will try and share something about my two cats later on, have to go out at the moment.

My mum's 2 dogs
Charley is massive giant schnauzer puppy who is clumsy and enjoys getting wet and dirty by jumping in the river
Sparkles is an athletic collie puppy who is clean and agile and far less excitable!
And the horses
Basil is a fatass and will eat anything and everything
Whisper is an old lady and just kind of chills
Dylan is mental
Princess likes to think she's in charge of things but isn't really
Flossie is an old girl but still acts like a grumpy teenager

I'm fine! Totally fine. I don't know why it's coming out all loud and squeaky, 'cause really, I'm fine!

Who else is fine?!?!?

They all sound great, thanks for sharing Beckie. The horses sound hilarious!

My cats:

Crookshanks - he needs ALL the attention but only really from me. He is like a baby and sits like a baby in my arms a lot of the time. He is obsessed with food and cuddles. He is very lazy. He is naughty in that he tries to get places he knows he isn't allowed and he likes to run out the door and under the car when I leave the house so I have to walk out backwards to stop him. He makes noise a lot of the time, when he's walking he sometimes makes a sort of squeaking noise and when he's deeply asleep he smacks his lips like he's eating.

Church - mostly solitary. Doesn't ask for much attention. I call him teeny tiny but he's actually overweight. He likes the sunshine a lot. He likes scratching things. He hates being picked up. He is getting naughtier as he's getting older and breaks lots of things. He is the owner of the cat beds. He's good at sneaking up on me and seeming to appear out of nowhere.

Yay, love this idea. =D

I can talk about my cat for hours.

Only have one cat currently (might talk about the others I've had later but it will make me cry!) So.. Geordi is a Siamese. Two of the best descriptions of him are "the looks of pedigree but the behaviour of an alley cat" and also "Best Cat In The World".

He is very chatty, sometimes shouty, I often have to remind him to use his indoor voice. He's very cuddly, loves laps and company and always forces his way under the bedcovers with me at night.

He loves ham and cheese and will sit like a dog for treats. He also likes snacking on mice... and leaving the guts for me. He once brought in a dead sparrowhawk... He is a super hunter but is scared by the pheasant that comes into the garden.

He also loves the bathroom cupboard especially in winter when it's super warm in there. He hates rain... to the point where he sometimes wees on the bathmat in annoyance.

My sofa blanket has become his sofa blanket.

And that's ok because he is my best friend in the whole world.

Bertie is a loveable idiot. He likes to suckle on fleece and drown all his toys but feathers remain his first love. He does like cuddles provided I've tired him out first as he is a kitten still. We like to nap together on the sofa.

Bertie sounds like a typical kitten! I think if cats weren't cats they wouldn't get away with half of the things they do and still have lots of love from us.

What does he like to do with feathers? Is it ones on a stick thing or loose ones?

Any feathers! He like to play hunt them. I think if I eve let him out he'd be a good hunter.

He also plays fetch like a dog.

I had a cat in the past. I miss her alot. She was abused and didn't trust people easily but that just made her much more affectionate. She would do figure 8s on your feet or follow you around the house until you were gone at which point she would hide and scatter her furballs all over the place.

I’m utterly besotted with Bobby. He’s about 16 months at the moment and turning into a sweet, friendly dog. He learns new things very quickly and is on his silver award in dog training. He’s lively and always looking for things to play with. If he can’t find a toy he’ll improvise one which is usually hilarious for everyone involved. Chair coaster and wooden floor means you can whizz that across the floor like a hockey puck. Detergent dosing ball? The clue is in the name! Plant pot base? It’s now a frisbee. And he’ll throw it for himself! I’ve started agility with him and he loves as do I.
He likes when you sit with him on the floor. He’s very soft like a pillow that cuddles back. If someone comes in while we’re doing this he goes to greet them and then comes back to finish his snuggin’.

Bobby sounds great. I would love to do agility with a dog. It can be really rewarding.

Our cat (really my sister's) is a bogget. Starts miaowing 2 hours before meal times. Leaps onto your comfortable seat as soon as you get up to make a cup of tea. Asks to be cuddled then savages your hand. Will happily pounce on leaves and twigs. Hates cigarette smoke. Lies on the stairs in the middle of the night so you trip over him on your way to the bathroom. Asks to be let in because he hates the cat flap, then ten seconds later he wants to go out again. Holds us responsible for bad weather, goes all moody when it rains. Loves to sleep in plant pots. He also loves riding on your shoulder like a parrot.

My cat is going to be ten years old this year! As a kitten she was just the sweetest but as an adult cat she is rather grumpy, lol, although has been mellowing out over the last couple of years. She is an indoor cat who loves to sleep and eat. She loves cat food and also likes to try and eat potato chips/crisps. If she sees you with them she will be all over you. She spends a lot of time looking out the window, car-watching or bird-watching. She will snuggle, but it’s strictly on her terms. She will often follow me from room to room and likes to be close by, so if I sit on the couch she will settle down on it too. She gets very anxious around strangers. She starts crying for food every morning usually no later than 5am.
