Phrasing
Hi guys.
As most of you probably know from my previous threads, I recently quit my job as a support worker because it was making me very unhappy. The company I worked for wasn't the best (I was put on stupidly long shifts with no breaks and wasn't given legally required training) which didn't help and I felt it would be better to cut my losses and leave. I worked there for just under 4 months.
I'm slowly starting to get my head straight and look for work again that's more relevant to what I eventually want to do (a clinical psychology doctorate) and I'm not sure how to phrase the reasons I left the job, as I'll need to give one when I apply for something new. Obviously I can't say 'I hated it and it made my mental health problems worse' but I don't want to leave it out completely as it was valuable experience.
What would be a good way to phrase it? I left due to personal reasons? I felt obliged to leave? I wanted more time to find more relevant work to further my career? I have no idea how to make it sound like a positive. Hoping some of you might be able to help.
Sorry for posting here so much. x
