Hi, well done for trying to beat anorexia, seems like you're doing well :)) i think it often happens after inpatient treatment that people become too strickt with themselves and try to do exacly what they did in hospital environment as it makes them feel safe. As you mentioned, professionals 'prescribed' cetain amount of walks so it must be right and you feel bad when not doing it. I used to do the same but with meal. We ate at cetain times and for tje frist few months after they discharged me, my meals had to be at exacly those same times. Of i missed them, i wouldnt eat later or earlier, just exacly than. It's funny now but back than, it was a real opsession.
I didnt gave it up all of a sudden, i just started experimenting a bit, trying to be a bit more flexible and eventually i was free of the trickt routine. I believe that will happen with your walks as well.
The thing is, walks were prescribed because you probably spenr the rest of fhe day seating and doctoea wanted to make sure you engage your muscles a bit. Now that you're out, you probably walk a lot more by just going around your daily things (commuting, shopping, going to work/school/uni) so if you count that, you are probably already above the activity levels that were prescribed. Try to relax about it if you can and focus on other things with your recovery. Good luck :)
