I say this every year but I disagree with people asking for help to hide cuts. That's not on.
Scars, yes, but please don't ask for help in hiding your cuts.

I used to wear some double length sweatbands and later some thin arm warmers wrist to arm. It sort of fitted with the look I had at the time so wasn't obvious I was trying to hide something.
As I'm abit older now I normally wear a long-sleeved top under my t-shirt. Or a shirt ontop of a vest top. Also I've cut a hole in the crotch of tights and turned them into sleeves - works quite well with fishnets,
For legs I tend to wear baggy 3/4 length trousers as a compromise between not having too much visible and not overheating.

[ this thread] which is quite old, but has new posts, is about covering scars in summer.
|
It doesn't matter where you come from; it matters where you go.
No-one gets remembered for the things they didn't do. We won't all be here this time next year,
so while you can take a picture of us. We're definitely going to hell,
but we'll have all the best stories to tell.

I agree with this. I certainly don't advocate helping people to hide cuts.

On my arms and legs i just use pants and sweat shirts, i don't mind the heat. But i have a friend who used to cut, and he wares huge wrist bands for BMX and stuff. And i was just wondering, whats the big deal about covering up cuts?
|
"I don't know why i cut myself, god, give me a sign or help, i won't cry, it'll be fine, ill take my last breath, push it out my chest, till there's nothing left."

Because it is seen as tip sharing/ encouraging people to carry on cutting when this site is supposed to be helping people recover
