Half my family did not die coming home from New York so yay! My mum and I spent most of today panicking about my dad, brother and sister not coming home.
Hello, I'm Katie. Currently studying criminology with applied psychology but hoping for a successful transfer to just psychology.
Honestly, I'm not too certain about uni, but it's probably just the freshers blues, I'm quite home sick and quite isolated from others in the flat. Oh well, hopefully I'll be kept busy with the course.
I'm sorting out student finance again, bit late but what ever. It'll take at least 6 weeks to sort out though. I hope I get loan because I'm not working.
I know i've not really been helping anyone or reading through these posts and most likely not deserving of any advice or support but i'm having a touhg time revising for a test that i have in a weeks time. I just cant focus and the amount to study is overwhelming. and generally not in a good place.

Do you find regular breaks help you? One of my lecturers insists on 20 mins work 5 mins break (which to me isn't overly helpful) even if it is just to get up and walk around your room a little?
I am battling with my dsa paperwork. I finally managed to write what I needed(I Think) but I needed doctor evidence and I thought they would just tick and sign but no. He wants my notes from my old practice. Is this normal?

I think when I applied for DSA my psychiatrist had to fill out a form. I had been seeing him for a while he knew me so not sure if it is normal Leigh. Could you get in touch with your old GP surgery and see if they could write a summary letter for your new gp. It might be a little quicker than waiting for medical records to be transfer - especially at the start of the academic year!

I was having a pretty good day and then I had a meeting with my supervisor which ruined it. Both my supervisors are getting on my nerves which is not helping my mood or stress levels.
Could you tell them they're not helping or suggest anything to improve the situation? I obviously don't know what your supervisors are like and i've heard some terrible supervisor stories in the past, however i am lucky to have quite a good supervisor who has told me to let her know if she's pushing me too much.
