Excel is evil, causes us no end of trouble with customers data, but its usually them using it wrong not excel itself

Office is nice, easier to work, think more coz there's always someone to run ideas past, or to look at code and find the missing ;

I use Excel, mainly because it means I can do work anywhere. I have a Mac (with Office software) and the office has at least three different versions, so I need something universal.

Doesn't stop me hating it though. I do concede that it is probably my ignorance of how to use it properly.

take ibuprofen too if that helps or instead, suppose if the pain killers aren't working its best to see a doctor

This: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTdjI9Mvjto"]Endorphin Release/Headache Relief - Delta/Theta/Gamma Meditation Binaural Beat BrainSync - YouTube[/ame]

Helped reduce a headache I had the other day.
Might seem a bit to 'alternative,' but I really don't like taking pain killers and found it in a google search.

Hope everyone's having a good evening :)

Yep, it helped a bit. Not so keen on the visuals though! Some of the patterns were soothing though.

I should go to bed.

My timetable says I start work at 10 tomorrow. But I've not been in that actual workplace since a couple of weeks ago [agh!] and the timetable has a habit of changing oddly. I'd better be there for 9.30 just in case!

Hope you sleep well :)

& Glad the video helped a bit.
I didn't think to look at it, just listened. Maybe I was better off avoiding it aheh.

Hi Buttons!

So far the themes seem to be alternative remedies for headaches, pets and excel spreadsheets. I couldn't join in on the excel stuff as thinking about them gives me a headache but I have plenty of animals! .

The last time I used Excel was in an IT class at secondary school, heh.
I can see its advantages though. My Dad uses it for his work (he's an accountant) and I reckon it makes his job a hundred times easier than if he didn't.

I love your avatar/signature, by the way.
How are you?

I don't use Excel much but always end up arguing with it, when I do!

hellooo :)

I don't 'get' excel. I learnt how to use it in secondary school many moons ago (gosh that is depressing) but none of it stuck.

I have given up on doing work for the time being. I am frankly bored of reading about local housing problems that folks have. And I can't be bothered applying for a job that I should go for even though I have no hope of getting it.

Hello all!

I have an Apple computer and it is REALLY different to Microsoft. Better. Once you get used to it - you have to stick at it!

I want to try a mac laptop when I next need a laptop, and can afford it.
[So no doubt it won't be the next one lol]

..just for the experience really.
Have never used a mac even for a short while. And I wanna know if they're really as super-amazing as some mac owners say they are

As a Mac owner I can say that it is good, but I am not a part of the Cult of Mac. I think they are incredibly overpriced for what you get, and that if you want to pay just under a grand for a laptop you'd be better off buying a high-spec non-Mac and putting the Mac OS on it. The OS is good, very quick and easy to use, especially once you get used to it.

Belle, I know, I know. I think it's more a case of lack of confidence. Like I have the experience and whatnot that they are looking for, but when it comes to the thought of doing the job, I just don't know if I'd be up to it.

Hadn't even thought of that, or knew it was possible. But I agree, it probably would work out better that way.
