Well, it's fairly hard to avoid, apparently, if this course is anything to go by!

Stay alive, feed yourself well, wear comfortable clothes, and don't give up on yourself just yet.
It'll get better. Until then, have a day."
I don't even know. I have read all the material but I can't remember. >.<

I think it must mean physical differences, and so people with disabilities (e.g. wheelchair users), people of different ethnic background and maybe different genders? I have no idea though :/ is there any way for that not to be offensive?
I suppose saying those different kinds of people exist isn't offensive, it's a statement of fact. As long as you don't then go and criticise those differences!
Okayyy apparently it's physical examples of diversity in a community like religious buildings, schools, etc. Exciting stuff.

No-one is cut out for this course. It's a ridiculous course. Though on the plus side, it's basically impossible to fail since you can resubmit as many times as you need to!

I'm panicking. I was introduced to the church as an intern today. Argh. I'm starting pastoral stuff tomorrow. I KNOW NOTHING. Who am I to listen to other people about their lives when my own is quite often a complete mess? I do not have it together. I've been asked to sort out pastoral stuff for our 18-30s congregation and I can't. I don't know what I'm doing. The leader of the congregation things I'm "perfect" for the role and said that she really knows she can trust me with it. She can't. She's really excited about me doing it. I can't. What if I really **** up? What a joke. I am a joke. I useless joke and I'm going to be useless at this and probably break someone. I've got a year of this. I am an idiot.

Okay, I understand your panic, Ducky, but the actual content of it seems a little unfair on you. You may have your ups and downs but you hold down a job, a flat, sort out your finances etc etc. You have that part together. You have a social life, you have good relationships with co-workers, managers, family and friends. That's together. You wouldn't have been put forward for this if they thought you couldn't do it, even you thought you could do it at one point or you wouldn't have accepted the position.
If you need help, ask for it and they will be more than willing to give you a hand with it until you can manage on your own. You are not a joke, at all, you're just having a panic and that's okay but I, for one, think it's unwarranted. You won't break anyone love. *Hugs*
Ducky, I second what Amy said. No words of wisdom, but I absolutely believe in you and know that you can do this <3

I can't do this stupid assessment. I'm still on the same question. It shouldn't be hard!
