Light therapy?

Hey guys, I've been looking into light therapy as treatment for depression. It's commonly used for treating seasonal affective disorder and as the days are getting shorter and shorter I'm thinking it might benefit me. Has anyone here tried light therapy? If so, did you go go in to an office to do it or did you have your own light box at home?

Thanks!

I use my own light box which you can pick up from a Maplin store for 1-1.5 hrs a day.

The hardest thing is getting up early enough in the morning to have time to use it.

I tend to have the light box indirectly shine on me whilst using the pc.

HTH.

What brand is yours? I don't think I have one of those stores where I am but I would look into getting it online... I've been looking on Amazon and I'll find one people seem to like, but then the few bad reviews they have seem like pretty serious problems and I don't know.

I had a look at the maplin store ones and I wondered which lightbox you went for? I was looking at the cheapest one (£50) but I'm concerned it might break/not last as long as the more expensive ones?
