Getting back in the car is the best thing you can do. Otherwise you will just be scared for the rest of your life.
After my huge accident (hit an audi head on, was in a corsa, car was wrecked, I was in a medically induced coma for 3 weeks, blah blah blah, broke lots of things, now have one leg 4cm longer than the other et cetera et cetera) as soon as I could, I got back in the car. I went driving with mother a bit first so that I could get my confidence up and then after a few hours driving with her it was all good and got driving on my own again not too long afterwards.
So yeah, just jump back on the bandwagon, or so to speak, otherwise it will be alot harder later on and driving gives you so much more freedom which is good and you will be wanting that after a little while of not being able to get anywhere.
I wish you the best of luck!

Thank you :) I've booked some refresher lessons for the end of next month to try to build my confidence back up again so it should do me good to just get back in the car hopefully!

Without wishing to hijack, heaven forbid, that's really good to hear Kelly, and I wish you the best of luck!
It was really sweet that you were so touched and surprised by the present; it's a nice attitude to have :)

Oh and Jen, lol, it's always fun when you spend more on your pets than yourself :p

Oh god so I'm not the only one afflicted with ''more of my money goes on my pets than me'' syndrome?! ; )

And what is a bubble wrap calender? I'm gonna regret asking, I know it!! Please let me down gently if so! Does it have a different picture of bubble wrap each month or have bubble wrap stuck down each month.

Sorry, I haven't a bloody clue either why I'm so fascinated!! lol!

Nope - not the only one. Even my rabbit did quite well this year!! Just been to the tack shop this morning and got 'donkey' a new stable rug (which to be fair was needed), a fly rug (being prepared for summer - they're cheaper this time of year and his old one was waaaaay too small), and a jolly ball to keep him occupied in the paddock!

I got a christmas cracker and some treats for my cat, but then forgot to bring it to my parents' with me, so I imagine he'll get it in the post as a new year present :p

My hamster got an edible sleigh, which he uses as a house, and he and the gerbils got some wooden 'Christmas dinner' to chew on and a wooden christmas jigsaw from me, and some seedy treats from Fi (MaybeNotForever).

:)

That is a really good idea. Thinking about it, I really should have done that but really could not be bothered! Will definitely do you good to just get back in a car again. :] I hope it goes well!

A Fleetwood Mac DVD (my first reaction was "Who the hell are Fleetwood Mac", LOL. It was a real life Secret Santa present so I think I will be donating it to the charity shop as I dont see me using it)
A food processor
A set of kitchen scales
A HTC Desire HD mobile phone
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows DVD - parts 1 & 2
A cat themed tea towel (from another Secret Santa)
2 x hot water bottle
2 x set of pyjamas
2 x set of knickers
A set comprising 3 bath sugars, and some body creme (which will be handy considering I dont own a bath)
Some boot type slippers
Various Chocolates
A bottle of Next Just Pink bubble bath (ditto the bath)
A hanging wash bag holder
A bottle of Magnolia eau de toilette
A bottle of Next Just Pink eau de toilette
An address book (cat themed)
A set of notelets and envelopes (cat themed)
Professor Layton and the Spectre's Call (Nintendo DS game)
A mirror which has an inbuilt light into it and is double sided (one side is normal, the other side is 5 x zoom)
A candle lantern shaped like house which had a bag of fudge in it
2 x chamilia charms (the "daughter" one and the "tigger" one)
Some Ernest Jones vouchers so I can get more Chamilia charms
Some hand saviour (which is a super intense hand cream)
A cat themed calendar
A rotating biscuit tin which also plays "Walking in a Winter Wonderland"
A bottle of Chardonnay (wine)
A bottle of Jack Daniels (whisky)

and a load of other stuff I have forgotten! I will probably go back and edit this.

I am sure that they are probably good, but I dont honestly see me watching it. I dont watch much DVDs, and this is mainly concert footage, which I dont really enjoy. At least the charity shop will get some money from it rather than sitting unopened in my flat.
