OK, I believe there is a Catholic/Christian thread floating around here somewhere, but what other religions do people have here?
Any Protestant, Hindu, Buddhist, Islamic, Pagan, Atheist, Non-denominational, etc. people here?
Just to make it clear, I have nothing against any religion!!! I personally believe that everyone has the right to worship however they see fit so long as its within legal and moral boundaries (so no human sacrifices or baby eating or anything). I'm just curious about what other people believe in.
So...? And if you don't feel comfortable sharing, then you don't have to. Like I said, I'm just curious.
Then wear the gold hat, if that will move her;
If you can bounce high, bounce for her too,
Till she cry "Lover, gold-hatted, high-bouncing lover,
I must have you!"

I don't have a religion. I'm not saying that there's not a god, but I'm not going to waste all my time on earth looking for one when nobody has been able to prove it in the millions of years before I got here.
Atheistic Satanism!
Dont jump to conclusions, I dont believe in Satan or devil worship. Research, THEN judge me.
Yeah, I've got nothing against Satanists, they have a bad rep just like Pagans and Wiccans do, but that's just because a lot of people are ignorant. I actually know a couple Satanists and they're all pretty cool :)
You can't be an atheist bordering on an agnostic. If you have any sort of belief in some kind of higher power but you're not sure what then you are an agnostic. So you are an agnostic with only mild belief in a higher power I would guess from your description, not an atheist.

I dont believe in a God, or higher power. I think i worded that poorly. Being only that if i had substantial proof that made sense to me, i may believe.
Ah ok, that makes more sense. Unfortunately I think you may be waiting a long time for some type of proof, all religions seem to require a suspension of rationality that they call "faith".
Rejecting an object of faith can also be a comfort and a way to cope since it can take away the worrying about consequences, struggles with guilt etc. Also keep in mind millions of people take meds with the idea there is a "chemical imbalance" when in fact it's never been proven and nobody on meds is tested for the imbalance anyway (as would be the case with say thyroid medication). Religion aside, people put "faith" in things they have no concrete evidence of every day.
I dont have any religious views - well i have views on religion which i wont go into as i dont want to offend, but i dont believe in any of them. i am however jealous of people with faith and who believe in religion - but i just cant.

This, completely.
I can't have faith in anything enough to believe in something that hasn't been proven, but that's just my feelings =]
Now I'll play your ghost as my ace, whenever I'm led astray.
But I am actually good, can't help it if we're tilted.
I'm in my right place, don't be a downer.
