i dont think Helen would mean to sound ungrateful though.

i think she has had to fight quite hard to get this funding so will probably know how very very precious it is and hopefully that will help her to fight.Cos as you rightly say some people who really need it - never do get it.She will be aware of this and it is very sad.

i think perhaps Helen is just worried about getting better and that can be quite a scary process and overwhelming and maybe she just feels she needs to get all the support she can right now.

Though im sure she will appreciate every reminder of what a good chance shes got here.To try and move forward and to help her fight.

Anyway *goes back to supporting Helen*.

I defiantly, want this. I defiantly do not want to live like this forever. I know that not many people get this, especially at a normal weight.

I don't want people to think I won't use this opportunity. I have had to fight for about 2 years for this. IP was mentioned to me when I was in CAHMS a few times, but was turned down my my Psychiatrist because as he put it 'I wasn't Anorexic'. I will try my hardest. It hasn't really sank in yet & don't think it will till I'm in the car on the way there.

The problem is, there is a difference between wanting IP, and needing IP.
And not everyone is at a normal weight, so I don't think you should judge solely on that.

I doubt 10+ professionals would say she needs IP if that wasn't the case, including Cotswold itself.
&clearly she wants it, I doubt she'd fight so hard if not.
