I'm reading a historical book at the minute called Auschwitz: The Nazis & The 'Final Solution'. It's really good and really informative but also obviously upsetting.
I'm also reading Darkly Dreaming Dexter but i've got a little side tracked by the Auschwitz book.
I loveddd that book, its sequel was really good too. But the third kind of strays a bit, I didnt enjoy that one as much as the other two.
I've just started 'The Sunday Philosophy Club' by Alexander McCall Smith. It seems good, and I loved the 44 Scotland Street series, so yess. Should be good =]
I'm also reading 'The Imitation of Christ' by Thomas a Kempis. Because the library didn't have the books I wanted so I ended up with that, for some reason.
I'm reading the latest Torchwood book by Dave Llewellyn, who is my friend Tim's mate, it's signed and everything! And it's proving to be a great read.

How could you become as awesome as you are and still feel like a loser?

so are the books write ups of the episodes, or are they just different stories but based around torchwood?

How do they match up to the tv series?
They are different stories to the TV series, but using all the characters (Jack, Gwen and the gang) so when you read them you get a sense that they could be an episode, but the stories are all unique and self contained in the one book. As far as I know there are 3 books from series 1 and 3 from series 2, of which Trace Memory (Dave's one I'm reading) is one. I haven't read any others but I'm sure they're all good too. I plan to read more as I'm really finding it an easy read and a page turner, although the concepts involve thought and complex ideas they're good to just relax with!
Hope that answers your questions - I'd certainly recommend this one!

I'm glad!! Any of his other stuff is as good. The Fall in particular I'd recommend.

Are the Torchwood books any good?
I have a couple lined up to read, but am waiting until I finish a book I'm reading currently.
Torchwood's a bit of an obsession of mine, haha.
Currently I'm reading The Savage Garden by Mark Mills. It's alright, but I get the impression it's soon to get much more interesting. I found it lying around the house, and just picked it up to read. Oh, and bits of it make me wish I knew some Italian, pft.
