FOOD.

Plz don't read if you will be triggered by mention of food etc.

I notice that a lot of my 'happy things' revolve around food and and cooking of food! Not in a weird dysfunctional way just I appreciate good food.

Let's talk about food. What is your favourite? Who cooks? Got any good recipes to share?

Anyone making themed food for Halloween / Christmas / etc?

favourite non chocolate food would have to be cheese on toast or garliccy cheesey bread stuff.
And I can cook I just don't cook.

Sweet chilli houmous is the best.

Ooh I love cheese. And bread. And any combination of the two.

That sounds like awesome halloween food. Anyone remember when those book fair things came to primary schools? I got a book from one of them that was a recipe book full of gross/scary themed recipes. It was amazing! I remember I tried some of them but I can't remember what! I wish I still had it, it would be fun for making halloween food :P

I had so many of my favourite things for Canadian Thanksgiving this weekend. Good grainy bread, pumpkin pie, cheesecake, brie, squash, turkey, gravy, sauteed spinach. I love autumn foods. I am all aboard that pumpkin spice train.

well, i have sown untidy furrows 'cross my soul,
but I am still a coward,
content to see my garden grow so sweet & full
of someone else's flowers.

Well I have been doing a healthy eating thing so i have been missing a lot of my favourite foods! I did have fish and chips last night which were amaaaazing.

I cook a lot,my favourite foods are anything of the mexican variety or anything spicy really!

I'm not sure about halloween but for christmas we usually go to a street party thing so I think I will be making healthy santa hats (You thread a strawberry, then a slice of banana then a grape onto a mikado chocolate stick and they look like santa hats ^_^ ) x

Relly jealous of all the pumpkin flavoured things people have, we can get soup or soup in that department.

Thats a really nice and simple and kid friendly uffet food idea with the santa hats.

Yeah, the grapes can be difficult to pierce so you can use a cocktail stick to make the hole. Or you can use cocktail sticks instead but I find something edible works better with small people!

I like vegetarian Mexican food. Quesadillas are the best <3 I make them with a tomato/bell pepper/chili mix :) I also enjoy Lebanese. I love Tabouleh, Falafel and Lentil soup <3

I wanted to make candy skulls and pumpkin pie for Hallowe'en/ Samhain but I don't think I have enough money. I'll probably be making a lot of food for Christmas/Yule. I've been meaning to make a Yule Log cake in forever!
