Maybe just for lack of a better pun, food for thought re the trust thing?
Bodies need food to survive, unfortunately. Sometimes it sucks to have food in you and doesn't feel great physically or mentally, but it is still important. It sounds like eating was probably the right thing. Is there anything else you can do or try to focus on instead?

That all sounds really good. It sounds like you are trying really hard. Can you focus on how the tea feels, like is the warmth comforting? Or focus on how being able to be with your family makes you feel (assuming it is a nice feeling)? Hopefully if things get worse you can also let your family know what's going on.

My aunt came to stay which was actually nice. She knows about the crazies so didn't expect me to be really sociable. And I've got an appointment with my CPN tomorrow so I've written down everything he needs to know.
I'm glad that you had some family time without too much social pressure. I hope your appointment with your CPN goes well, it's good that you've prepared by writing things.
I put it down on paper and then the ghost does not ache so much.
Don't try to calm the storm, calm yourself, the storm will pass.
I'm around, just unsure what you are nervous about? I guess in general just working on doing nice things for yourself, staying safe, and reaching out to your family if needed would be my general suggestions.
