I used to love that but at the cassel we have jacket potatoes 3 times a week. Learned to love to hate them.

I'm hungry but am watching the news so will make something quick after that.

Stir fry sounds nice Katy, you don't have to have it all, maybe just try having a few mouthfuls at a time.

I'm weird as I don't tend to get bored of foods. I always have the same thing over and over. I like it that way. I'm an odd one.

I sometimes do the same meals.
Like if I have chicken or any meat really for a meal, I'll have to have it the next day to use it up and I don't really get bored of it.

It was! I wish I had some bread to dip in it though!
I don't use enough bread to justify buying even the small loaves

You can always freeze the bread beckie and then just defrost what you need?

I had a pizza for lunch so thinking of something like macaroni cheese.

My mum just buys loaves reduced wacks them in the freezer. And just gets a slice out to defrost when she needs to.

Wahhh Lillie beat me to it.

She also does the same with Milk. I literally had no idea one could freeze milk till she did. She just pours a big bottle into small ones and gets a small one out every time she needs, and it's cheaper for her that way.

Your mam has good sense! Especially when they reduce bread to like 20.


Talking of milk it may be cuppa time if I can brave the kitchen.

An AMHP told me about the freezing milk thing. I was going into hospital and said I didn't want to throw all the milk away so she said to freeze it!

I find defrosted milk goes watery though.

It doesn't make a blind bit of difference. I bought them washing up liquid so they stop using that as an excuse.

She uses skim milk anyway, so I don't find you really tell.

What's their excuse now? People like that are just annoying when you have to live with them.

They are lazy? I mean they are only just in from work so I'll let them off.

I use skim milk now and I dont mind it. I only have it in tea so don't notice.

There's that milk that is skimmed but tastes like semi skimmed (apparently) but it's too expensive. Would like to try it though.
