DRUG and ALCOHOL RECOVERY WEBSITES

Children of Addicted Parents and People - a website for young people affected by another person's addiction. Includes personal stories, discussion/support forums, newsletters, creative corner, internet safety, and important links.

LifeRing (unhooked.com) - Online secular (non-religious) support site for those people seeking sobreity from alcohol / drugs. Website features chatrooms with regular meetings, member discussion forums, email lists & support, bookstore, scientific research articles, news items, links to related websites and treatment resources, poetry, art, music and recreation pages.

Smart Recovery - Self Management And Recovery Training online services include message boards and chat rooms, which allow members to post information, provide feedback, and interact in real-time. Website also includes resources for those with addiction problems, and their family and friends, as well as an online bookstore
and recommended reading materials.

SoberSources Network - An online guide to recovery resources, information, directory and forums.- includes a member-built directory of resources in the mental health and alcohol / substance abuse areas.

Talk to Frank - A UK based, government funded website aimed at providing information and education about drugs and their dangers, as well as helping those people (or their friends and family) who have drug problems. This website has general information and education about drugs, as well as a search function that provides a comprehensive list of drug and alcohol services (counselling, detox, rehab, information & advice, and needle exchange) in various towns within the UK.

SoberTeens Online - A Recovery Site for Teens with alcohol and drug problems. Includes a number of message boards and forums covering a wide range of issues, chatroom, and news updates.
