there's 'the bridge' more about people jumping off the golden gate bridge. i havent found it anywhere but i've been told it's good

Starts out with a kid killing himself through the method mentioned in the title, other than that there isn't much SI although the overall theme is suicide and the afterlife. It ends in a happy manner, although I guess you could consider it a dark love story/comedy.

I've seen The Bridge, it creeped me out a bit how people just jump out of no where.
and I watched Ginger Snaps Unleashed the other day on Youtube, but got irritated because half of the parts were not working, so I was kind of lost at the end (parts 7,8,9, were deleted for copyright infringment, so I'm gunna rent the movie next time I go out)

*Edit: It only shows self harm once, after that there's nothing about it anymore. I guess it's more about two girls who love each other..

I didn't know this was a SI related movie...I used to watch it all the time..it's not a very happy story line though...most of my friedns can't understand it unless they're stoned..makes me feel special because I can ^_^

I have to say that Downloading Nancy is a very depressing movie and very powerful at the same time. I feel how she feels in that movie and i couldn't help but cry because it was like i was watching myself.

Prozac Nation: I just finished watching this and this is why I am now a part of this site.
Augusta Gone: i love this movie but man would I hate to be sent there.
13: For some reason it's hard to watch her SI. But I cant help but watch this movie all the time.
Secretary: I love this movie. I think it's the first movie really portray the life of a masochist and the type of relationship a dom and sub have.
Girl, Interrupted: Another one of my favorite movies. Specially since Angela Bettis is in this and May is one of my favorite movies.
Saw: I love the Saw series but the only SI is Amanda and the overweight dude in the barb wire.
Ginger Snaps: I love there series as well. The second one has very intense SI in the begging and a little through out but it's not associated with her being depressed or angry. it's more about her seeing how quickly she is transforming into a werewolf but she ends up in a hospital/recovery thing for girls.
Virgin Suicides: I loved this movie a lot, but I feel like some parts were just slow.
The Wall: This is one sad movie. It just makes me depressed when i watch this. But I actually shaved my eyebrows off a while ago because of this movie.

I've never seen these ones 2:37, ****ing Amal, Stay, Manic, Painful Secrets, On the Edge of Innocence, but plan on it now.

Just Watched Painful Secrets , its a really good film but for anyone who wants to watch it or other films like it S.I. centred please make sure you are safe first as they can be VERY triggering , I just got triggered :( so just a heads up
