The spice girls movie.... I was so terrified of the aliens.

And Matilda.

Miss Trunchble. I had to be taken out of the cinema.

FFFFFFFF- THIS! That movie was so scary I've blocked it out, and now I have a damned huge phobia of robots thanks to the freaky tin thing.

Thumbelina? I dunno, is that the one? There's a bit where a little person is trapped inside an ice cube and the other little person is on the outside? I know it's not scary but I cried buckets and couldn't watch the rest of the film - it took me weeks to get over it!

We didn't have a TV till I was 11.

Kids movies I watched in the last few years that scare me:
Jumanji
wizard of oz (didn't finish it, because of the monkeys)

I used to hate ET but only because I got really sad when the men all took him away. It made me cry.

I haven't seen Return to Oz. And I don't think I should after all these reviews!

I own a copy of Thumbelina. Yep, def a bit creepy, but there are some fab songs!

I don't understand why kids films scare me so much, when "grown up" films don't...

I actually loved horror movies as a kid, but the one movie that really scared me was Fantasia! Scariest animated movie ever!

I think I was the only kid who got scared of Alice in Wonderland, The Wizard of Oz, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I like them now but I just didn't like trippy movies as a kid. The whole idea of being lost and trapped in a strange place with creepy people and creatures just freaked me out. Oompa loompas still freak me, ill admit lol.

Giving up doesn't always mean you're weak.
Sometimes it just means you're strong enough to let go.

Jumanji seems to be popular, but I can't understand why it is scary. I remember seeing it in the cinema and thinking I so wanted a game like that. Would beat Monopoly any day.

We were shown Watership Down at school when I was about 4 and I had nightmares about it for weeks - the bit where the the rabbits are being told what happened to the warren when the diggers came and the rabbits died, and obviously the evil efrafans!!!
After that other films didn't scare me much!

For me it was the whale in Pinnochio that gave me nightmares, oh and the dinosaur bit in Fantasia.
Return to Oz is ****ing twisted. Glad I didn't see it until I was older :P

Edit: Watership Down has to be the worst :|

The Last Unicorn... that part with the old witch lady scared me. I also remember some puppet movie with this puppet dog mop-looking thing and he fell and got pulled apart by these crab things... Was that from the Dark Crystal? I don't know, but it gave me nightmares. And Coraline gave nightmares to the little girl I nanny, haha.

And, though it's a TV show and probably doesn't count, Animorphs gave me NIGHTMARES when I was 7.

Someone give me Disneyland
Take me there to Disneyland
And when I get to Disneyland
I'll stay!

Noooo! I lived for Animorphs!!! I read the books and everything. Poor Tobias

Although there was one bit where the girl was morphed into a bear and got her paws chopped off... I admit that was slightly disturbing.
