I would probably make fresh bread rolls with garlic butter to start, followed with roasts potatoes, honey roast parsnips, veg, and chicken for meat eaters and peppers stuffed with mushrooms, garlic and sour cream with mozzerella melted on top for the veggies, then either a nice cheesecake or chocolate cake for dessert

Super veggie pasta bolognaise - loads of veg [carrot, savoy cabbage, etc] in a tomato sauce, with veggie mince. Or pancetta for non veg.

I don't eat starters, or make my own desserts, so that requires more thought!

There are times to stay put, and what you want will come to you.
But there are times to go out into the world and find such a thing for yourself.

I think I would have to do a roast chicken with roast potatoes, a selection of veg, stuffing, bread sauce and pigs in blankets! If money was no object then I might do a slightly more expensive bird like pheasant!

To start I would do something like a posh prawn cocktail or asparagus or something else that's light and not to filling!!

To finish I would do a clever cupcake or 'dirt cake' or of I deemed that to filling maybe a chocolate mousse as I make a very tasty one!!

I would do a bird in a bird in a bird in a bird in a pig in a deer in a cow for the main course, beluga caviar to start and chocolate mousse covered in gold leaf for pudding. Then we would all have fine cuban cigars and brandy to end. Only if money was no object though.
If I had to do it to a budget, I would do cold brocoli soup to start, mac and cheese for main, and then custard served in a sweaty trainer for pudding. To drink, I would provide water from the pond.
