I am currently:
Safe - Swollen uvula.

I woke up this morning with quite a dry thoat, so i took a drink. And realised that something is..not obstructing my throat...but i can feel something touching the very back of my tongue. Its not painful or sore, just annoying.
I think its my uvula (dangly throat thing) that has swollen.

Maybe due to me being a mouth breather during the night.

Has anyone else experienced this?
And does anyone know what i can do to fix it, because its ****ing annoying..

x

I'd suggest maybe try some throat lozengers, some have a simple local aneasthetic in and drink plenty. If it doesn't clear or starts bothering you then maybe pay a visit to your local pharmacist or GP.
Get well soon x

Sucking on ice cubes may help. Also, you can get local anaesthetic spray for the mouth/ throat but that won't reduce any swelling. If there is no reason in the leaflet why you can't take it you could try taking Ibuprofen as instructed in the leaflet and see if that improves it. If it isn't getting better over the next day or 2, worsens or affects your breathing at all then you need to go and see a doctor asap.
