Devastated
I had a miscarriage this morning. Yes, on mother's day. I was 7 weeks pregnant with our first child. I don't know if I can get through this without cutting. I have been self-injury free for 41 months and it hasn't been easy in the slightest. This has been devastating for both my husband and me. And I don't know how to cope with this kind of loss.

Oh sweetheart. I went through exactly the same thing. 7 weeks with our first and I miscarrried. It was one of the most heartbreaking and difficult things I have ever experienced. I felt so alone.
If you want to pm me or chat on this thread I'm here for you.
All I can say is that you will get through it. The pain will subside slowly over time and there is hope... I gave birth to my little one 6 months ago. You will get there too. Keep holding on.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I also lost my first baby to miscarriage. I hope it will encourage you to hear about my experience: the month after my miscarriage, I got pregnant with my daughter, and she is now a lovely 8 year old
My son is 6. I thought I couldn't bear it after losing my first baby, but now when I think of meeting my first baby in heaven, I remember that I am the mother of three :) I hope you will have the joy of more children in future.
