I'm sorry you're upset, do you want to talk about it?

Thanks it was about dealing with flashbacks. Everything that was suggested I've either tried or know won't work. It made me feel like nothing could help me. I think psychology is rubbish I don't believe in it anymore.

Maybe a stupid question, but how do you know it won’t ‘work’ if you’ve not tried it? Also, how would you know something was ‘working’, like....what would it do in order to ‘work’? Re psychology- does that mean you’re going to stop seeing the ward psychologist?

And if so....given that the ward clearly have no current plans to let you kill yourself, and you’ve said you don’t want depot etc...how are things going to change? It must feel pretty shitty at the moment. I guess I’m just wondering how that will change? Cos death doesn’t seem to be an option right now.

I'm sorry that your review did not go so well. Do you want to expand on that at all?

I hope you are OK

Thank you both. I still have no discharge plan or leave. I'm so upset and annoyed.

OK, so the review was upsetting because theres no change. I can understand how that must be difficult.

Was there any suggestions about what would have to change to get leave or discharge?

They said it's not a "tick box exercise" and that I need to be opening up to staff etc

Sorry if you've answered this already, but do you have an advocate at the moment? I'm not sure how section 3s work but I'm sure you're entitled to one and a solicitor?

I know you feel like you don't trust a lot of the staff, is that the only thing that's stopping you from being more open and honest with them or are other things a factor?

Not opening up to them doesn't seem to be making them want to discharge you either though. Do you think it is worth a try?

What is it about what you would want to speak to them about that makes you think they would keep you in for longer? Is there anything that you think would be safe to talk to them about? Just to test it?

What if you spoke up front about why you're not being open - and talk to them about your fears of being kept in hospital longer? I know that does sound really scary but it could be useful, they could help you find ways around your fear.

I don't know. It's just because of my plan to end my life. I'm sure if they find out about that I'll be kept in longer.

Is there something that would make you rethink your plan, and try something else?

I'm sorry you feel that way. What do you imagine happening if your plan fails?
