When i got my student grant back in 91, the first thing i did was spend £160 on a Super Nintendo Streetfighter pack! Ahem..................alas there were no chicks telling me i was fit. Just some podgy, greasy haired shop grunt, that jangled her cheap elizabeth duke gold jewelery and murmered something bout students..........

Kangaroo, thanks for that. There should be therapists in shops to help you come to terms with the post-transaction guilt. I'd hate to think how much money I have wasted over the years on STUFF, but like I said, I think clothes - and the feeling of freshness that new clothes bring - is worth it, every once in a while. The money wasn't for the rent or anything.
