a wee update

so I got a phone call yesterday from my consultant at the MH resource centre who will be keeping an eye on me til the meds kick in and I went to see her today.

she's very straightforward which is good but at the same time she was telling me things I've heard before and that I already know (I lack self confidence, I have bad coping skills i'm impulsive etc)

apparently I don't have a diagnosable condition according to her I don't come across as "clinically" depressed, I go see her again in two weeks time.

It's good that you are seeing someone and that she is keeping an eye on you.

Sorry to hear this!! I hope the meds help and you start feeling better soon. I'm glad you are getting some support through the mh team. Make sure you're 100% honest with them so they can help - they need to know how hard things are for you atm.

Ok so here's the latest, meds are kicking in but I'm still a bit over the place as far as my moods go but my concentration has improved and i'm actually sitting still long enough to read occasionally.

I see my CPN/consultant person at the metal health centre tomorrow, it was meant to be yesterday but got changed to Friday which is a bit of a ballache cos I have another appointment tomorrow with a place called GMAP who are going to help me appeal the decision to cut my benefits so I thinks it's going to be another intense day tomorrow.

also work are being really cool about everything they've told me not to worry and to take as long as I need so I have about another three weeks of my sickline but I will need to see my doctor and see how I feel before I decide to go back
